EARLY 1990'S - Located east of Colusa, California, in the center of the Sacramento Valley. This site is a terminal and a through point for the South Leg of the SS12000 microwave radio. The terminal feeds a 50 watt ITS ITFS transmitter (channel D1), which is owned by a local MMDS operator. The site serves Grass Valley, Marysville (Yuba College), Beal AFB and Colusa. The SS12000 microwave is also repeatered at this site, with the Chico terminal to the north and the UC Davis terminal to the south. In addition to the South Leg, this site is a repeater point for the Central Valley Microwave. This system connects CSU Chico with CSU Sacramento, CSU Stanislaus and CSU Fresno.
Winter weather generally moderate, with occasional high winds during storm conditions. Access is continuous year-round by four wheel drive truck.
